I received the video as a series of clips – the filmer paused the camera between songs. To maintain flow and continuity, I inserted still images into the parts where there was no video.

Audio is LPCM format ~ no re-encoding of either the audio or video occurred in the DVD authoring process. I checked the bitrate of several of the video clips, and according to GSpot, they were all in the 4.5K to 4.8K range.

This is mostly a screen shot. It’s a handheld video and is shaky at times. The audio is really excellent and it’s a very enjoyable show.

There is no artwork for this. If you want some, I encourage you to make some and share it with the group (Flickr is your friend for high quality pics). I request that you include the filmer’s and audio taper’s nicknames in the artwork.

Ya falta menos. Te recuerdo que el 14 de Septiembre próximo tendrá lugar la presentación americana de la película en la inminente edición 2009 del TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), como ya te di noticias hace unos días.

También hubo un par de pre-estrenos con anterioridad, uno en el South by Southwest Festival (SXSW 2009) y otro en Festival de San Sebastián 2008, pero en ninguno de ellos se proyectó la cinta completa.

Algunos se están dando prisas, como esta web, que ya anuncia el DVD, y que ha sido difundida en la lista flamenca de Neil. Lo malo es que yo no sé flamenco, a pesar de serlo mucho.

Gracias a ser un padre afortunado , hoy la videoteca se ha visto incrementada con una nueva adquisición.

Se trata de un DVD (2008 by MC) con actuaciones varias de Neil en distintas épocas y escenarios y con diferente acompañamiento.

Son grabaciones de actuaciones del 2001 y 2005.

Las primeras (cronológicamente) tomadas del Fuji Rock Festival (28/07/01) y las restantes de los programas de televisión: Late Night with Conan O’Brian (2 al 5/11/05) y Saturday Night Live (18/12/05); casi PRAIRIE WIND al completo.

En cuanto a los acompañantes aparecen Crazy Horse, Pegi & Astrid Young, Emmylou Harris, Fisk Jubilee Singers, Ben Keith, Spooner Oldham, Ric Rosas, Chad Cromwell, Grant Boatwright, Diana Dewitt, Anthony Crawford……..

Winston Watson · Bob Dylan Never Ending Tour Diaries

Además de participar como miembro de la banda en varios cientos de conciertos, tuvo tiempo de llevar un diario, grabar ensayos, anécdotas de camerinos, viajes… de Bob Dylan junto a una larga lista de artistas de todo tipo, entre los que se cuenta también Neil Young, así que es de esperar que el Tío Neil aparezca en algún que otro capítulo del DVD que este músico va a poner en circulación a partir de primeros de Abril.

El International Rust Festival tiene su propio canal oficial en Youtube:

Está administrado por tres ruties: Heidi, Bugs y Gil. Y su finalidad es promocionar el festival, difundir noticias sobre él, compartir experiencias y hacer nuevos rusties.

Por lo pronto, la última novedad son los trailer que Denis "RustyWords" ha hecho sobre el vídeo del último festival y sobre la noche acústica en el Old Princeton Landing.

Por cierto, esos vídeos están ahora en pleno proceso de compartición. Se han montado un Vine para algunos y otros los hemos descargado por FTP desde el propio sitio de Denis, así que si alguien tiene curiosidad…

Nadie va a ir a la ruina por gastarse 15 o 20 euros en un DVD, pero es que me toca la pera que se utilicen grabaciones de seguidores que nacen ya con el sello de “TRADE FREELY”, que llevan circulando entre nosotros años ya, para hacer negocios. Y me duele hasta las orejas de decirlo: LOS BOOTS NO SE NEGOCIAN, SE COMPARTEN.
