Live Rust, la conocida banda canadiense tributo a Neil Young, ha ofrecido un recital de sus versiones en el Clarke Theatre de Mission, British Columbia (Canadá) con motivo de un concierto benéfico por Haití el pasado día 26 de Febrero. Bonito gesto.
Unos genios en Bilbao en 2007. No está completa, pero ésta es para Bonma, con afecto.

Parece que el tema interpretado no está pensado totalmente para él, pero la intención es lo que cuenta.
Esta fue la aportación del Tío Neil a la recogida de fondos en los USA para ayudar a los damnificados por el terremoto (lástima que haya tenido que ocurrir esta desgracia para que todos miremos hacia esas personas).

Isabel también nos avisó de otro vídeo con la aparición de Neil Young en el programa The Tonight Show de Conan O’Brien, de la NBC TV, pero lamento no poder ofrecerte este vídeo, pero la NBC no ha permitido su difusión en Youtube.
Neil apareció vestido con una llamativa camisa hawaiana, muy al estilo de su colega Stephen Stills, interpretando Long May You Run, posiblemente en honor de su recién fallecido amigo y colaborador Larry Alderman (L.A.) Johnson, productor, director y editor que trabajó tanto en el mundo musical como cinematográfico.

Aunque la propia Sheila no consigna al Tío Neil como una de sus influencias, sí se atreve a subirlo al escenario. Valiente que es ella.

La primera viene de parte de Rey Álvaro, y se trata de un vídeo rodado por Jon Rueda en el concierto de Donosti de este verano. Solamente recoge Mansion On The Hill, pero con una gran calidad. Gracias a los dos.

Junto a Neil y Rufus, estuvieron Ben Keith, Anthony Crawford, Hargus "Pig" Robbins (al piano), Joe Allen (al bajo), Karl T. Himmel (a la batería), Larry Cragg (al banjo y con algo más de pelo), Joel Bernstein (a la guitarra) y Matraca Berg (te juro que no es broma mía) y Tracy Nelson (en los coros).
